The only few bugs we had were half the windows were missing screens, and the other half had a few large holes to let gnats in. So with any slight crumb they found there way in and attacked. The bathroom sadly was painted with oil based paints so the bathroom would melt or the oil would separate and drip on to the floor. I just wish that rent wasn't raised 300 extra dollars to renew lease compared to our current lease because it's very hard to find in unit washer/dryers for a fare price. Again with the new management I see this place getting even better.
With extensive shopping within an easy drive to San Diego, it would be easy to imagine that Chula Vista would rest on its laurels. Still, the city has a quaint downtown area with enough shops and restaurants to keep you busy for a weekend, and the nearly-new Otay Ranch Town Center. Chain and independent restaurants stand side-by-side and major department stores resides next to charming one-of-a-kind shops. With movie theaters galore and a new hotel being built nearby, Otay Ranch Town Center is the kind of place you will want to share with guests from out of town. You might be able to get out and walk when living in this area. Some errands can be accomplished on foot, but for others you’ll need a car.
